FAQ

Questions the software can answer.

These answers describe the preview that is in this repository. They are not a warranty, a certification, or a customer result.

Does OwnEnvoy place phone calls?

No. A session is a browser page the other party opens. The product does not dial out or join a meeting.

Is the representative identified as AI?

The consent page says so before a microphone is used, and the agent’s first message is fixed text that says it is an AI representative. Spoken wording after that still depends on the agent following its instructions.

Can it agree to a purchase or a contract?

The server refuses purchase, contract, and recording actions. An owner approval of an over-cap proposal permits sandbox discussion only. It does not move money and it does not sign anything.

Who has to agree before voice starts?

The owner signs a mandate. The other party opens a one-time link, ticks four acknowledgements, and types the invited email. OwnEnvoy does not email that link. The owner’s consent is not the other party’s consent.

What is actually built?

The studio can hold a mandate, a consent link, a policy check, and an owner decision. AI-to-AI, parallel sessions, and other languages are not built. Signed receipts are in development and have not been produced by a live conversation, because the post-call webhook is not registered.

Is there a price or a waitlist?

No. The contact page does not send email, store a lead, or publish a rate.

Limits are listed on Trust. Module status is on Modules. The draft privacy note and terms still need legal review. Contact does not open a sales inbox.
